We are a group of community choir singers of all shapes and sizes, in Centretown Ottawa, who enjoy singing in harmony. Our repertoire includes an eclectic mix of contemporary and classical music, and we are planning to offer an exciting program of choral singing activities for the upcoming Fall term.
Musica Viva Singers is proud to present our spring concert - Riversong! From the energy of rushing waters to the gentle beat of waves on the shore, join us on a winding journey of sound through the many moods of a river. Dive into Canadian classics like The Log Driver's Waltz. And hear how rivers have inspired beloved artists like Joni Mitchell, Peter Gabriel, Coco Love Alcorn, and Michel Rivard. Roll with us through various musical genres: folk, rock, gospel, and more!
