We come together in song.

Musica Viva Singers

We are a group of community choir singers of all shapes and sizes, in Centretown Ottawa, who enjoy singing in harmony. Our repertoire ranges from Renaissance motets and opera choruses to songs written just yesterday -- with lots of popular, Celtic, rock and folk song arrangements.

Come Sing With Us!

Our Fall session begins Monday, September 9 from 7:15 - 9:30 pm at Centretown United Church (507 Bank St.). New members are welcome to come on the 9th and see what it would be like to sing with us.

This season we are serving up holiday feast for the ears entitled 'Cakes and Ale'.  On the menu are seasonal selections featuring festive food and drink -- wassail and wine; chestnuts and cherries; bannock bread, boar's head, tourtière and more. The music is mostly from the English, Scottish, Irish, and French Canadian folksong traditions, along with a few contemporary choral works.
